Concr\u00e8tement, son but principal est d\u2019assurer que le niveau d\u2019\u00e9mission de CO\u00b2 des v\u00e9hicules est conforme aux nouveaux niveaux d\u2019\u00e9missions impos\u00e9s au niveau europ\u00e9en.<\/p>\n<p>Les v\u00e9hicules concern\u00e9s sont ceux qui rel\u00e8vent des cat\u00e9gories M1, M2, N1 ou N2, pour lesquels la 1\u00e8re immatriculation en France intervient depuis le 1er mars 2020, \u00e0 l\u2019exception :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>de ceux pour lesquels les \u00e9missions de dioxyde de carbone n&rsquo;ont pas \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9termin\u00e9es conform\u00e9ment aux exigences europ\u00e9ennes ;<\/li>\n<li>et de ceux pour lesquels les \u00e9missions de dioxyde de carbone ne peuvent \u00eatre d\u00e9termin\u00e9es ou pour lesquels il n&rsquo;est pas possible d&rsquo;\u00e9tablir qu&rsquo;elles ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9termin\u00e9es conform\u00e9ment aux exigences europ\u00e9ennes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ce nouveau syst\u00e8me d\u2019immatriculation a une incidence sur le malus automobile.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Pour les v\u00e9hicules de tourisme relevant de cette nouvelle proc\u00e9dure d\u2019immatriculation, le
